KAOSPILOT
Hosting locally an international education semester.
What ended up happening was a beautiful co-created journey among our team, the Kaospilot team leaders and the students, where we (re-)discovered Lisbon as our home and as our teacher.
In 2024, Kaospilot (a Denmark-based transformative education provider) returned to Lisbon for their “Outpost” semester in Enterprising Leadership Education. During an Outpost, a student team of about 35 young adults relocates abroad for three months to collaborate with local projects and learn in an unfamiliar context.
What really excited us about working with Kaospilot as a local partner and co-designer was the synergy potential of their learning process — integrating Knowing, Doing and Being; a learning loop of action and reflection; exploring systemic, team and individual levels of work — with our approach.
The experience was so rich and fruitful that we decided to collaborate again in 2025, before the Outpost moved to new shores. One thing that makes us really proud is the Story of Place short film that a team of students we mentored made. It beautifully expresses how they saw the essence and potential of the neighbourhood that hosted them twice — Penha de França.
